CCPC SEEKS TO SHARE THE LOVE OF CHRIST BY SERVING WOMEN AND FAMILIES EXPERIENCING UNPLANNED PREGNANCIES. THE PREGNANCY PROGRAM FOCUSES ON PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS. INFORMATION ON PARENTING, ADOPTION AND ABORTION IS PRESENTED SO SHE CAN MAKE A PREGNANCY PLAN USING RELIABLE INFORMATION. BECAUSE EVERY LIFE HAS INTRINSIC VALUE, WE NEVER REFER FOR ABORTIONS. OUR SERVICES INCLUDE PRENATAL AND PARENTING CLASSES, IN DEPTH PEER COUNSELING, SPIRITUAL MENTORING, ESSENTIAL MATERIAL ASSISTANCE AND REFERRALS FOR OTHER NEEDS. ALL OUR SERVICES ARE FREE. IN 2021, WE SERVED 1,034 INDIVIDUALS WITH 2,838 VISITS. 571 BABIES AND/OR THEIR MOMS RECEIVED MATERIAL ASSISTANCE. 102 CLIENTS TOOK PRENATAL OR PARENTING CLASSES.
THE SEXUAL RISK AVOIDANCE (SRA) PROGRAM EDUCATES ADOLESCENTS PRIMARILY IN PUBLIC MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS ABOUT THE EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL BENEFITS OF CHOOSING ABSTINENCE AND THE EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL RISKS OF SEXUAL ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF A PERMANENTLY COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP. OUR SEXUAL RISK AVOIDANCE EDUCATORS ARE CERTIFIED THROUGH ASCEND, A NATIONAL SRA ORGANIZATION. THE PROGRAM SEEKS TO PRESENT THIS INFORMATION IN AN AGE-APPROPRIATE FORMAT USING WELL-DOCUMENTED AND MEDICALLY ACCURATE INFORMATION, WHITE AFFIRMING EACH PERSON'S INTRINSIC WORTH. FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR, WE MADE 94 PRESENTATIONS TO 2,176 UNDUPLICATED STUDENTS.
THROUGH OUR ABORTION RECOVERY PROGRAM, WE COMPASSIONATELY CARE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED ABORTION AND ARE SEEKING HELP. THIS CONFIDENTIAL PROGRAM MENTORS THEM THROUGH THE HEALING PROCESS OF UNDERSTANDING AND ACCEPTING GOD'S FORGIVENESS AND IMMENSE LOVE.
