INTERVIEWED AND PROVIDED TRAINING ON THE PROCESS OF ACQUIRING AND MAINTAINING A HOME FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES. ALSO PROVIDED ASSISTANCE IN ACQUIRING FINANCING AND PURCHASING A HOME. SERVICES PROVIDED FOR IN EXCESS OF 300 CLIENTS.
NDF RECIEVED A GRANT FOR THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS TO RESTORE 10 PROPERTIES IN THE HOFFMAN TRIANGLE NEIGHBORHOOD. ONCE COMPLETED NDF WILL PUT THE PROPERTIES BACK IN COMMERCE AS SINGLE FAMILY HOMEOWNERSHIP UNITS TO BE OFFERED TO INDIVIDUALS/FAMILIES WITH INCOME AT OR BELOW THE AVERAGE MEDIUM INCOME.
