SEE SCH OTHE BUSINESS COUNCIL WORKS TO IMPLEMENT CLEAR, PREDICTABLE LAWS THAT FOSTER HONEST, EFFICIENT, TRANSPARENT AND ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNMENT. THE BUSINESS COUNCIL STRIVES TO ENSURE A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT THAT ATTRACTS PRODUCTIVE COMPANIES, INDIVIDUALS, AND FAMILIES TO THE GREATER NEW ORLEANS REGION AND STATE OF LOUISIANA. PRESENTLY, THE BUSINESS COUNCIL COLLABORATES EXTENSIVELY WITH GOVERNMENT, CIVIC AND OTHER BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS TO TACKLE ISSUES VITAL TO THE REGION. ORGANIZED IN TASK FORCES, THE BUSINESS COUNCIL LEVERAGES THESE SMALL MEMBER-LED AND STAFF SUPPORTED GROUPS TO RESEARCH AND ADDRESS ISSUES IDENTIFIED AS IMPACTING THE GREATER NEW ORLEANS REGION AND THE STATE OF LOUISIANA. (2) SUPPORTING STATE, REGIONAL, AND LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS IN DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING POLICIES TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. (3) MANAGED AND PARTICIPATED IN THE INFRASTRUCTURE ADVISORY BOARD WHICH PROVIDES OVERSIGHT OF HOW THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS AND THE SEWERAGE AND WATER BOARD OF NEW ORLEANS SPENDS REVENUES RESULTING FROM THE "FAIR SHARE AGREEMENT."
