FUNDED ANNUALLY BY THE NORTH CAROLINA ARTS COUNCIL'S GRASSROOTS ARTS PROGRAM MATCHING GRANT, THE NASH COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL'S GRASSROOTS ARTS PROGRAMMING IS THE PRIMARY PROGRAMMING OF THE ORGANIZATION AND PRESENTS SERIES TO INCLUDE ARTS EDUCATION, PLAY, VISUAL ARTS, AND THE MAJORITY OF THE ORGANIZATION'S MINOR CONCERT SERIES. MORE THAN 20 OFFERINGS ARE PRESENTED THROUGH THIS SERIES ANNUALLY. THE REQUIRED CASH MATCH FOR THIS GRANT PROGRAM IS MET THROUGH LOCAL GOVERNMENT FUNDING, TICKETS & ADMISSIONS, MEMBERSHIPS, CONCESSIONS AND ART SALES.
