BALLAD HEALTH FOUNDATION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS TO FULFILL THE MISSION AND VISION OF BALLAD HEALTH THROUGH PHILANTHROPY. WORKING TOGETHER AROUND A COMMON SET OF OBJECTIVES, WE CAN TRANSFORM OUR COMMUNITY'S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING.

BALLAD HEALTH FOUNDATION BUILDS RELATIONSHIPS THAT FULFILL THE MISSION AND VISION OF BALLAD HEALTH THROUGH PHILANTHROPY. DURING THE TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD ENDED JUNE 30, 2022, OVER 3,800 COMMUNITY-MINDED BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS MADE GIFTS THAT ENABLED THE FOUNDATION TO LEVERAGE THE POWER OF PHILANTHROPY TO IMPROVE THE OVERALL HEALTH OF THE REGION. THESE GIFTS ENABLED THE FOUNDATION TO PROVIDE $5,153.289 FOR EQUIPMENT, PROGRAMS, AND SERVICES THROUGHOUT THE REGION. FACILITIES AND PROGRAMS SERVING WOMEN AND CHILDREN RECEIVED $4,091,636, WITH $3,537,500 OF THOSE DOLLARS GOING TOWARD PLANNING AND PRELIMINARY CONSTRUCTION EXPENSES TO CREATE THE NEWEST AND MOST MODERN NICU IN THE STATES OF TENNESSEE OR VIRGINIA. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDED $934,585 FOR EQUIPMENT THAT INCLUDES: INFANT RADIANT WARMERS, WOUND CARE TREATMENT CHAIRS, EKGS, ACCUVEINS, FETAL MONITORS, PATIENT RECLINERS, BLOOD CELL PROCESSOR, VASCULAR SCANNER, AND A NEW COMPREHENSIVE WOMEN'S HEALTH MOBILE UNIT. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED $135,607 IN FUNDING FOR ONCOLOGY SERVICES WITH A SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON CANCER SCREENING AND DETECTION FOR WOMEN, AS WELL AS $38,562 FOR PARISH NURSING, AND $25,198 FOR HOSPICE AND HOME HEALTH PROGRAMS. FINALLY, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED $384,690 IN DIRECT ASSISTANCE THROUGH BALLAD HEALTH'S PATIENT ASSISTANCE AND TEAM MEMBER EMERGENCY FUNDS.
