SAFETY SEMINARS AND AUDITS ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF MSI'S EFFORTS TO PROMOTE SAFETY, SECURITY, AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE. VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE EXPERTS IN VARIOUS FIELDS OF AVIATION TRAVEL WITH MSI PERSONNEL TO STRATEGIC LOCATIONS AROUND THE WORLD TO SHARE THEIR WISDOM AND EXPERIENCE AND TO DEMONSTRATE AND PROMOTE SAFE PRACTICES. RESEARCH, ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION AND CONSULTING ARE ALSO KEY ACTIVITIES AS WE TRY TO DETERMINE CAUSES OF ACCIDENTS AND HOW TO PREVENT THEM. FIELD RESEARCH ON CURRENT ATTITUDES, BEST PRACTICES, INDUSTRY STANDARDS, TRENDS, AND SAFETY INFORMATION IS NECESSARY TO ASSIST OUR MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS MAINTAIN SAFE OPERATIONS. APPROXIMATELY 500 PEOPLE WERE SERVED IN OVER 25 COUNTRIES BY THIS SERVICE ALL YEAR. IN ADDITION TO THE EXPENSES ABOVE, VOLUNTEERS DONATE TIME AND EXPENSES VALUED AT $16,920.
PUBLICATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS: AS INFORMATION IS GATHERED THROUGH RESEARCH, MSI PASSES IT ON THROUGH PUBLICATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS VIA ALL MEANS POSSIBLE. OUR FREE NEWSLETTERS AND PUBLICATIONS ARE WIDELY DISTRIBUTED AND MAILED ALL OVER THE WORLD TO OVER 25 COUNTRIES,. OVER 3000 PEOPLE RECEIVE THEM ON A QUARTERLY BASIS.
