MEDICAL AIR TRANSPORT: IN THE UNITED STATES, WINGS OF HOPE PROVIDES FREE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO FAMILIES SEEKING SPECIALIZED CARE NOT AVAILABLE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. VOLUNTEER PILOTS AND MEDICS FLY INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS TO HOSPITALS IN 26 STATES WITHIN A 900-MILE RADIUS OF THE ORGANIZATION'S ST. LOUIS-BASED HEADQUARTERS.IN 2021 WE PROVIDED 209 PATIENT FLIGHTS ACCOMMODATING PATIENTS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS.
GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN FLIGHTS: WINGS OF HOPE SUPPORTS FIELD BASES IN NINE COUNTRIES TO PROVIDE DIRECT RELIEF TO UNDERSERVED INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN REMOTE AREAS. MORE THAN 75,000 INDIVIDUALS BENEFIT FROM ACCESS TO RESOURCES FOR A BETTER LIFE THROUGH WINGS OF HOPE'S GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN NETWORK.
SOAR INTO STEM: WINGS OF HOPE ENCOURAGES THE NEXT GENERATION OF HUMANITARIANS AND AEROSPACE PROFESSIONALS BY OFFERING A FOUR-WEEK, HANDS-ON CURRICULUM TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS CONSIDERING CAREER PATHWAYS.
