MEDICAL AIR TRANSPORT: IN THE UNITED STATES, WINGS OF HOPE PROVIDES FREE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO FAMILIES SEEKING SPECIALIZED CARE NOT AVAILABLE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. VOLUNTEER PILOTS AND MEDICS FLY INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS TO HOSPITALS IN 29 STATES WITHIN A 850-MILE RADIUS OF THE ORGANIZATION'S ST. LOUIS-BASED HEADQUARTERS.IN 2022 WE PROVIDED 219 PATIENT FLIGHTS ACCOMMODATING PATIENTS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS.
GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN NETWORK: WINGS OF HOPE SUPPORTS IN-COUNTRY PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS IN 10 COUNTRIES TO UNDERSERVED INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN REMOTE AREAS. MORE THAN 40,000 INDIVIDUALS BENEFIT FROM ACCESS TO RESOURCES FOR A BETTER LIFE THROUGH THESE PARTNERSHIPS.
