THE GEORGIA CHAMBER WORKS TO EXPAND GEORGIA'S GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS TO ATTRACT NEW INVESTMENT AND CREATE OPPORTUNITY AND PROSPERITY FOR ALL GEORGIANS. IN 2022, THE GEORGIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CONTINUED ITS MISSION TO SUPPORT TO PROVIDE COORDINATED LEADERSHIP TO PROTECT FREE ENTERPRISE, ENGAGE MEMBERS, CAPITALIZE ON EMERGING TRENDS, AND MITIGATE RISK TO GEORGIA BUSINESSES. HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE GEORGIA CHAMBER'S 2022 ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE PRODUCTION OF "WINNING THE WAR FOR TALENT" REPORT WITH POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS TO ADDRESS LABOR SHORTAGE, ONGOING SUPPORT OF STATEWIDE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SUCCESS THROUGH ANNOUNCEMENTS WITH RIVIAN AND HYUNDAI ELECTRIC VEHICLE FACILITIES, ESTABLISHED A WORKING GROUP REPRESENTING NON-METRO ATLANTA METROPOLITAN STATISTICAL AREA (MSA) CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE. THE GEORGIA CHAMBER GARNERED SOCIAL MEDIA IMPRESSIONS OF 12.22 BILLION WORLDWIDE, ACHIEVED AN 80.7 PERCENT MEMBERSHIP RETENTION RATE, AND CONTINUTED THE SMART PLAN SMALL BUSINESS INSURANCE PROGRAM TO COVER NEARLY 50,000 LIVES.
