PSS PROVIDES INFORMATION, SUPPORT, AND EDUCATION TO WOMEN AND MEN FACING THE CHALLENGES OF UNPLANNED PREGNANCY IN DURHAM AND ORANGE COUNTIES. SPECIFICALLY, PSS PROVIDES FREE PREGNANCY TESTS, FREE FIRST TRIMESTER ULTRASOUNDS, INFORMATION ON ALL PREGNANCY OPTIONS, MENTORING, PARENTING RESOURCES, REFERRALS, AND MATERIAL SUPPORT. IN ADDITION, PSS PROVIDES POST-ABORTION SUPPORT AND HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION. IN 2023, PSS HAD 229 CONTACTS WITH CLIENTS. HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION WAS PROVIDED TO 30 AREA MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
