THE BODYARMOR STATE GAMES OF NORTH CAROLINA IS A STATEWIDE, OLYMPIC-STYLE SPORTS FESTIVAL FOR CITIZENS OF ALL AGES AND SKILL LEVELS. STATE GAMES EMPHASIZES PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH PHYSICAL FITNESS, HEALTH, DRUG-FREE COMPETITION, ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP. THE BODYARMOR STATE GAMES OF NORTH CAROLINA IS ONE OF THE OLDEST, LARGEST AND MOST SUCCESSFUL STATE GAMES PROGRAMS IN THE US. HELD ANNUALLY IN JUNE, IT IS THE LARGEST MULTI-SPORT AMATEUR EVENT IN NORTH CAROLINA. MORE THAN 13,000 INDIVIDUALS ANNUALLY PARTICIPATE.
CYCLE NORTH CAROLINA (CNC) CONSISTS OF THREE BICYCLE TOURS IN NORTH CAROLINA. THEY ARE NOT RACES, BUT RATHER, RECREATIONAL TREKS ACROSS SCENIC BACK ROADS. CNC IS DESIGNED TO PROMOTE PHYSICAL FITNESS, GOOD HEALTH AND THE SCENIC BEAUTY OF NORTH CAROLINA. HELD THREE TIMES ANNUALLY, MORE THAN 4,000 INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATE.
