THE NATIONAL CYCLING CENTER, INC. SERVES AS A RESOURCE TO IDENTIFY AND NURTURE TALENT IN ATHLETES FROM ALL CYCLING DISCIPLINES. THE ORGANIZATION IS INVOLVED IN SUPPORTING AND FACILITATING CYCLING EVENTS, AND PROVIDES ATHLETE TRAINING AND COACHING FROM TOP EXPERTS. THE NATIONAL CYCLING CENTER ALSO PLANS TO PROVIDE FACILITIES TO AND FOR CYCLISTS TO TRAIN TOGETHER AS A TEAM, AND PROVIDE ACCESS TO SOME OF HEALTHCARE'S BEST AND BRIGHTEST MINDS IN SPORTS MEDICINE, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND ATHLETIC TRAINING.

PROVIDED TRAINING, TESTING AND SUPPORT FOR YOUNG ATHLETES OF ALL LEVELS OF THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC SPECTRUM REACH THEIR TRUE POTENTIAL. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED THE WINSTON SALEM CYCLING CLASSIC FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN IN MULTIPLE AGE GROUPS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO EXPAND THEIR WS BIKE SHARE PROGRAM TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO TRANSPORTATION THROUGHOUT WINSTON SALEM. SEVERAL NEW BICYCLES WERE PURCHASED AND PLACED IN SERVICE DURING THE YEAR. THE NATIONAL CYCLING CENTER ALSO PARTICIPATED IN EDUCATIONAL EVENTS TO RAISE AWARENESS ON THE TOPIC OF BICYCLE SAFETY.
