EAGLE RANCH HELPS MAKE LIFE BETTER FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES, POSITIVELY IMPACTING COMMUNITIES FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
EAGLE RANCH, INC. SERVED APPROXIMATELY 64 CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 8-17 AND PROVIDED COUNSELING SERVICES FOR AN ADDITIONAL 195 PARENTS AND SIBLINGS. THE EAGLE RANCH SCHOOL SERVED 51 STUDENTS IN GRADES SIX THROUGH NINE. EAGLE RANCH SCHOOL OVERSAW VIRTUAL LEARNING FOR 13 STUDENTS GRADES 3 -5 AND 10-11. THE EAGLE RANCH PROGRAM HAS THREE INTEGRATED COMPONENTS: HOME LIFE: HOUSE PARENT COUPLES IN EACH HOME PROVIDE A STABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR UP TO SEVEN CHILDREN. THEY ALSO MODEL HEALTHY FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS AND INCORPORATE CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO ALL ASPECTS OF DAILY LIVING WHICH HELPS BOTH THE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES LEARN NEW WAYS OF RELATING TO EACH OTHER. THE AVERAGE TENURE OF A HOUSE PARENT COUPLE IS FOUR YEARS ENSURING A STABLE HOME.
COUNSELING: OUR STAFF OF FIVE LICENSED, PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS PROVIDES INDIVIDUAL, GROUP AND FAMILY COUNSELING.THE COUNSELORS WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE HOUSE PARENTS AND THE CHILD'S FAMILY TO ENSURE THAT THE TREATMENT PLAN ESTABLISHED FOR EACH CHILD AND THEIR FAMILY IS CONSISTENTLY IMPLEMENTED.
EDUCATION: MOST OF OUR CHILDREN COME TO EAGLE RANCH HAVING A HISTORY OF POOR SCHOOL PERFORMANCE. OUR ON-CAMPUS SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN IN GRADES SIX THROUGH NINE INCORPORATES NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED BEST PRACTICES TO ADDRESS OUR CHILDRENS' ACADEMIC DEFICITS AND PREPARE THEM FOR THEIR FUTURE. AFTER SCHOOL TUTORIAL ASSISTANCE AND SKILL SPECIFIC REMEDIATION IS OFFERED TO CHILDREN ATTENDING PUBLIC SCHOOL WHO NEED ADDITIONAL HELP.
