BLUE RIDGE PUBLIC RADIO (BPR) OPERATES A FULL-SERVICE PUBLIC RADIO STATION ON TWO CHANNELS AND MULTIPLE FREQUENCIES SERVING 13 COUNTIES IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND PARTS OF NORTH GEORGIA. BPR PROVIDES FAIR, ACCURATE AND IN-DEPTH LOCAL, STATE, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL NEWS AND INFORMATION, DRAWING ON OUR NEWS STAFF AS WELL AS THAT OF NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO AND THE BBC WORLD SERVICE. BPR ALSO OFFERS CLASSICAL MUSIC, JAZZ, BLUEGRASS AND FOLK MUSIC ALONG WITH INTERVIEWS WITH CREATIVE AND COMMITTED COMMUNITY MEMBERS FROM ACROSS THE REGION.
