THE MARKET ALSO SERVES TO ELEVATE FINE CRAFT AS AN ART FORM BY INFORMING PUBLIC PERCEPTION OF WHAT CONSTITUTES ART, EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT MEDIUMS AND TECHNIQUES USED TO CREATE THESE ARTISTIC WORKS, AND HIGHLIGHTING THE VALUE OF CRAFTSMANSHIP IN OUR CULTURE.
