TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH OF ALL CITIZENS OF THE COMMUNITY BY BRINGING TOGETHER THE PHYSICIANS AND CERTAIN OTHER PERSONS IN ALLIED HEALTH FIELDS INTO ONE ORGANIZATION; TO FOSTER FRIENDLY AND ETHICAL RELATIONS AMONG PHYSICIANS; TO PROVIDE MEDIACL LEADERSHIP IN COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES PERTAINING TO HEALTH; TO INSURE HIGH STANDARDS OF MEDICAL PRACTICE; TO MAINTAIN THE GOOD REPUTATION OF THE PROFESSION AND TO PROTECT THE INTERESTS OF IT'S MEMBERS; TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATION AND DEVERLOPMENT OF ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONS; TO ENCOURAGE THE ENACTMENT OF JUST LAWS FOR THE PROTECTION OF COMMUNITY HEALTH; AND TO JOIN WITH OTHER SIMILAR SOCIETIES TO FORM THE MEDICAL ASSOCIATION OF GEORGIA AND THE AMERICAL MEDICAL ASSOCIATION.
