PACKAGES TO TROOPS IN HARMS WAY:SINCE THE PROGRAM WAS INITIATED, POST 201 HAS SENT OVER 11000 PACKAGES TO TROOPS SERVING IN IRAQ & AFGANISTAN & OTHER AREAS THRU THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR.
VETERANS CLUB & SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:AMERICAN LEGION POST 201 HAS MANY OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES WHICH IT OPERATES. ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT IS THAT IT SERVES AS A CLUB & MEETING PLACE FOR VETERANS & THEIR FRIENDS & RELATIVES. POST 201 HAS MANY FUNCTIONS FOR VETERANS & ALSO FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC, INCLUDING THE CLUBROOM,WEEKLY DANCES, BINGO SESSIONS & MANY OTHER FUNCTIONS WHICH ARE TOO NUMEROUS TO LIST HERE. AMERICAN LEGION POST 201 IS A MILITARY VETERANS HOME AWAY FROM HOME. POST 201 HAS HOSTED OLD SOLDIERS FOR 71 YEARS. CURRENTLY THE EVENT IS HOSTED ON THE FIRST SATURDAY IN AUGUST.
