MEAL SERVICES PROVIDES MORE THAN 346,000 MEALS ANNUALLY TO ATLANTA AREA SENIORS WHO ARE UNABLE TO PREPARE OR AFFORD ADEQUATE NUTRITION. ALL OF OUR CLIENTS ARE LOW-INCOME, AND MANY ARE HOMEBOUND BECAUSE OF ILLNESS OR DISABILITY. WE OFFER 7 DIFFERENT MEAL TYPES TO MEET SPECIALIZED DIETARY AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS. WE ALSO PROVIDE EMERGENCY MEALS AND SHELF-STABLE FOODS FOR SENIORS IN URGENT NEED OF NUTRITIONAL ASSISTANCE. OUR STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS DELIVER MEALS TO OUR CLIENTS' HOMES, OFTEN PROVIDING SOME MUCH-NEEDED SOCIAL INTERACTION FOR ISOLATED SENIORS.
HOME REPAIR SERVICES PROVIDES MORE THAN 2,600 HOME REPAIRS TO OVER 260 CLIENTS ANNUALLY. HOME REPAIR SERVICES ENABLES SENIOR HOMEOWNERS TO MAINTAIN THEIR INDEPENDENCE, HEALTH, AND QUALITY OF LIFE BY PROVIDING CRITICAL HOME MAINTENANCE, REPAIRS, AND MODIFICATIONS.
