BBBS HAS DEFENDED THE POTENTIAL OF FUTURE LEADERS IN THE COMMUNITY FOR OVER 69 YEARS BY MATCHING AT-RISK YOUTH (LITTLES) WITH COMMITTED ADULT MENTORS (BIGS). THESE RELATIONSHIPS - STRATEGICALLY MATCHED BASED ON LITTLES' NEEDS AND BIGS' BACKGROUNDS AND SKILLS, AS WELL AS COMMON INTERESTS, ASPIRATIONS, AND PERSONALITIES - EMPOWER LITTLES TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS IN LIFE AND BECOME PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. WE SERVE SCHOOL-AGED STUDENTS IN GRADES K-12 WHO ARE CONSIDERED AT-RISK YOUTH IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES. BBBS PROVIDES SCREENING, TRAINING, ACTIVITIES, AND MATCH SUPPORT AT NO COST TO THE MENTOR OR THE CHILD'S FAMILY.
