THE PROGRAM SERVICE WILL BE TO FOSTER AND PROMOTE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE SCIENCE OF HORTICULTURE WITH PARTICLUAR EMPHASIS ON A STUDY OF THE LIFE AND WORK OF BEATRIX FARRAND, THE FAMOUS LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT. DURING 2020,COVID CAUSED THE BFS TO CANCEL OR POSTPONE A NUMBER OF EVENTS TO 2021. OF THE EVENTS THAT DID TAKE PLACE, THEY WERE CARRIED OUT VIA ZOOM RATHER THAN IN PERSON. FURTHER, IN PERSON VISITS TO OUR FACILITIES WERE LIMINTED IN NUMBERS, THUS CAUSING A DELCINE IN BOTH VISITOR NUMBERS AND THE NUMBER OF SOCIETY VOLUNTEERS.
