SEED TIME HARVEST AND RESTORATION HAVE BEEN IN EXISTENCE SINCE 1993 AS A FORCE IN THE COMMUNITY. THEY HAVE SERVICED THE COMMUNITYS SPIRITUAL GROWTH VIA OUTREACH WORSHIP SERVICES AND BIBLE CLASSES BY MEETING THE PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE, IE, MOBILE SERVICES. THIS ORG. HAS BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN COMBATING GANG VIOLENCE, SINGLE-PARENTING, AT-RISK-YOUTH, AND FEEDING THE HUNGRY. THEY PARTNERED WITH BI-LO & PUBLIX TO PROVIDE WEEKLY MEALS 1998-2011 TO RESIDENTS OF HAVEN OAKS, AZEALA PARK, & BOONE WEST. THE FOOD PANTRY REMAINS ACTIVE, MINIMAL SPACE. 75 FAMILIES FED IN 2018! THESE LONGTIME VOLUNTEERS FOR DORCHESTER COUNTY MENTORSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDED MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT TO STUDENTS AT AUSTIN AND DUBOIS MIDDLE SCHOOLS AND AS VOLUNTEER CHAPLAINS AT DORCHESTER COUNTY DETENTION CENTER, MENTORS WITH DEPT OF JUVENILLE JUSTICE. IN 2009-2011, SEED TIME HARVEST PROVIDED LIFE SKILLS AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT VIA DORCHESTER ADULT EDUCATION & DORCHESTER DEPT OF SOCIAL SERVICES.
