THE ORGANIZATION IS THE PREMIER LOCAL ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ALLEVIATING HUNGER IN THE COMMUNITY. THEY HAVE AN ARMY OF VOLUNTEERS WHICH OPERATE REFRIDGERATED TRUCKS 7 DAYS PER WEEK, 52 WEEKS PER YEAR, COLLECTING SURPLUS FOOD FROM GROCERY AND OTHER STORES AND DISTRIBUTING TO DISTRIBUTION AGENCY PARTNERS. THEY IN TURN PROVIDE IT TO THE NEEDY AND DISADVANTAGED.
