SINCE 1999 SHALOM HOUSE MINISTRIES INC HAS OPERATED A FACILITY FOR WOMEN WHO STRUGGLE WITH DRUGS AND ALCOHOL ADDICTION. IN 2008, THE ORGANIZATION OPENED A TREATMENT FACILITY. TO DATE, MORE THAN 600 WOMEN HAVE CHOSEN TREATMENT A SHALOM RECOVERY CENTER. WE ARE DEDICATED TO PROVIDING WOMEN TOOLS OF RECOVERY TO TAKE THEIR PLACE AS PRODUCTIVE PARENTS AND CITIZENS IN SOCIETY. SITUATED ON A 104 ACRE FARM IN BELTON, SC, SHALOM CAN ACCOMMODATE UP TO 20 WOMEN AT A TIME. THE ORGANIZTION ALSO OPERATES A 10 BED TRANSITIONAL HOME IN ANDERSON, SC FOR WOMEN WHO NEED A SAFE PLACE TO TRANSITION WHILE LEARNING FINANCIAL REPONSIBILITY, IN ADDITION TO DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE LIVING SKILLS AFTER LEAVING TREATMENT.
