THE FOUNDATION WAS ORGANIZED IN 1998 TO RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC. ALL CONTRIBUTIONS WOULD BE INVESTED TO GENERATE A REASONABLE RATE OF RETURN IN PERPETUITY WHICH WOULD BE TO SUPPORT ACTIVITIES OF THE EXCHANGE CLUBS CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION CENTER IN DURHAM INC EXCHANGE FAMILY CENTER . THE CENTER WORKS WITH FAMILIES IN DURHAM COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA IN WHICH CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT HAS BEEN SUBSTANTIATED OR IS SUSPECTED, AS WELL AS FAMILIES AT RISK FOR ABUSE OR NEGLECT.
