IN 2019 WE DEVELOPED AFFORDABLE SINGLE FAMILY HOMES IN INDEPENDENCE HEIGHTS; COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION OF A PROTOTYPE DISASTER RECOVERY HOME WHICH RECEIVED NATIONAL PRESS COVERAGE; CLOSED ON FINANCING AND COMMENCED CONSTRUCTION OF A 112-UNIT AFFORDABLE SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY WITH ENRICHED SERVICES IN THIRD WARD FOR MONTROSE CENTER; CONCEIVED, DESIGNED AND ASSEMBLED FINANCING FOR A 120-UNIT MIXED-INCOME COMMUNITY IN A DOWNTOWN HOUSTON CENSUS TRACT WITH 0% POVERTY (CONSTRUCTION COMMENCED IN 2020); PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO FORT BEND WOMENS CENTER IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR RIO BEND CAMPUS FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS; PROVIDED ASSET MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE TO THE WOMENS HOME FOR THEIR FAMILY PLACE RESIDENCES FOR HOMELESS WOMEN AND CHILDREN; AND OPERATED 193 AFFORDABLE RENTAL HOMES IN A HIGH AMENITY LOCATION FOR CLIENTS PRIMARILY EARNING LESS THAN 50% OF THE AREA MEDIAN INCOME.
