TO BRING DIRECT BENEVOLENCE AND ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN ECONOMIC CRISIS AND AT RISK OF BECOMING HOMELESS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

DIRECT BENEVOLENCE AND ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED TO THOSE IN CRISIS AND AT RISK OF BECOMING HOMELESS. 2388 CLIENTS WERE ASSISTED WITH THE FOLLOWING NEEDS: UTILITIES, RENT, MORTGAGE, TRANSPORTATION, MEDICAL EXPENSES, AND FOOD. THE LARGEST NEED BY DOLLARS SPENT WAS UTILITIES AT 55% OF BENEVOLENCE FUNDS DISTRIBUTED IN 2021. THE LARGEST NEED BY INDIVIDUALS SERVED WAS FOOD AT 1815 OF CLIENTS SERVED IN 2021. INDIVIDUALS ARE INTERVIEWED 2-4 MORNINGS EACH WEEK TO DETERMINE NEED FOR ASSISTANCE AND TO VERIFY ALL INFORMATION. FOOD IS DISTRIBUTED UP TO EIGHT HOURS PER WEEK WITH VERIFICATION OF IDENTITY, FAMILY SIZE, AND HEALTH OR AGE-RELATED ISSUES.
