THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY MISSION IS TO SUPPORT CHILDREN BATTLING CANCER BY FUNDING PROGRAMS THAT IMPROVE PATIENTS' QUALITY OF LIFE, TREATMENT PROGRAMS THAT INCREASE SURVIVORSHIP, AND PEDIATRIC MEDICAL RESEARCH DEDICATED TO FINDING A CURE.

ATRIUM HEALTH FOUNDATION - GRANT TO OPEN THE STATE-OF-THE ART, 17-BAY JEFF GORDON CHILDRENS FOUNDATION INFUSION CENTER AT LEVINE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL TO ALLOW FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF PHASE I CLINICAL TRIALS, DENDRITIC CELL VACCINES, AND MANY OTHER NEW IMMUNOTHERAPIES FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER PATIENTS.


VARIOUS CANCER RESEARCH AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS


CHILDRENS NATIONAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION GRANT TO LAUNCH A NOVEL PHASE II CLINICAL TRAIL WHERE PEDIATRIC PATIENTS WITH RELAPSED/REFRACTORY SOLID TUMORS AND A LEAST TWO SITES OF DISEASE WILL RECEIVE THE CHECKPOINT INHIBITORS NIVOLUMAB AND IPILIMUMAB PRIOR TO UNDERGOING CRYOABLATION TO ONE TUMOR SITE IN HOPES OF CREATING A NEW AND SAFE TREATMENT FOR PATIENTS WITH PEDIATRIC SOLID TUMORS WHO HAVE EXHAUSTED ALL OTHER OPTIONS.
