GREAT SMOKIES HEALTH FOUNDATION (GSHF) HAS EXPANDED AND ENHANCED HEALTHCARE IN TARGETED AREAS BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES. GSHF SUPPPORTS PROGRAMS, PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES FOCUSED ON HEALTH, WELLNESS, AND PREVENTION. FUNDING IS PROVIDED TO NON-PROFIT 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS AND GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES. WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING WITH OUR COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AND AGENCIES TO IDENTIFY AREAS FOR FUTURE FUNDING. GSHF OPERATES THE JACKSON COUNTY THRIFT SHOP, SWAIN COUNTY THRIFT SHOP, AND THE GREAT SMOKIES HEALTH FOUNDATION GIFT SHOP. THE THRIFT SHOPS OFFER A GREAT VARIETY AND EXCELLENT PRICES IN GENTLY USED ITEMS.
