PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL JOURNALISTIC EXPERIENCES FOR STUDENTS OF DUKE UNIVERSITY - APPROXIMATELY 125 STUDENTS CONTRIBUTED TIME WORKING AS VOLUNTEERS AT THE NEWSPAPER. TWO STUDENTS WERE SPONSORED FOR SUMMER INTERNSHIPS, ONE STUDENT WAS AWARDED A SCHOLARSHIP, AND ELEVEN STUDENTS GOT ON THE JOB TRAINING OVER THE SUMMER AT THE CHRONICLE
