THE MISSION OF THE LEADERSHIP NORTH CAROLINA PROGRAM IS TO INFORM, DEVELOP AND ENGAGE COMMITTED LEADERS BY BROADENING THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF AND INVOLVEMENT IN ISSUES AND OPPORTUNITIES FACING OUR STATE.

SEVEN MONTHLY, TWO-AND-A-HALF DAY SESSIONS GIVE CLASS MEMBERS A BROADER UNDERSTANDING OF THE STATE WITH A FOCUS ON ISSUES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN THE AREAS OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT, GOVERNMENT, AND HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES. 55 STUDENTS ATTENDED THE PROGRAM DURING THE 2021/2022 YEAR.IN ADDITION TO THE CLASS MEMBERS, 740 ATTENDEES PARTICIPATED IN CLASS XXIX ALUMNI AND REGIONAL EVENTS AND 147 ATTENDED LNC FORUM TO FURTHER AWARENESS OF THE ISSUES FACED BY THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA. IN ADDITION TO FORUM AND LNC'S CORE PROGRAMMING, 6 LEADERSHIP SESSIONS AND EVENTS WERE HELD DURING THE YEAR.
