CIS CALDWELL COUNTY WORKED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE COUNTY'S PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO BRING CARING ADULTS INTO THE SCHOOLS TO ADDRESS CHILDREN'S UNMET NEEDS. CIS PROVIDED THE BETWEEN EDUCATORS AND THE COMMUNITY. PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON MENTORING, SOCIAL SERVICES, ACADEMIC IMPROVEMENT, FAMILY EMPOWERMENT, ATTENDANCE INCENTIVES, AND TEEN PREGNANCY AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION. CIS SERVED OVER 400 STUDENTS IN THE AREA.
