SERVED OVER 1000 PEOPLE VIA COUNSELING, PHONE ADVICE OR DIRECT CONTACT AT THE SHELTER. OVER 100 PEOPLE PHYSICALLY STAYED AT THE SHELTER DURING THE COURSE OF THE YEAR, MANY ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS.
PROVIDED LOW-COST, PRACTICAL NECESSITIES TO THE BRUNSWICK COUNTY COMMUNITY, SUCH AS CLOTHING AND FURNITURE, THROUGH THE OPERATION OF THREE THRIFT STORES. THE STORES PROVIDE A MECHANISM FOR HOPE HARBOR TO PLACE AWARENESS MATERIALS IN THE COMMUNITY ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT INCLUDING CONTACT INFORMATION FOR THOSE IN NEED AND GENERAL EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS.
