CAMP TEKOA, INC. IS A MULTI-SITE MINISTRY OF THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. CAMP TEKOA IS LOCATED IN HENDERSONVILLE, NC. TEKOA FOOTHILLS IS LOCATED IN CASAR, NC. TEKOA'S MISSION IS: "TOUCHING HEARTS. CHANGING LIVES. SHARING THE LIGHT OF CHRIST." TEKOA HAS SEVERAL MINISTRIES INCLUDING SUMMER CAMP, TEKOA MISSIONS, TEKOA AFTERSCHOOL, AND RETREATS. OUR SUMMER CAMPS OFFER A VARIETY OF ONSITE PROGRAMMING AND OFFSITE ADVENTURE CAMPS. WE OFFER DAY CAMPS, ELEMENTARY CAMPS, MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMPS AND HIGH SCHOOL CAMPS. WE ALSO OFFER SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAMMING IN THE SUMMER AND THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
DURING OUR RETREAT SEASON, WE WELCOME MANY GROUPS TO MEET TOGETHER, FELLOWSHIP AND EXPERIENCE SPIRITUAL RENEWAL. GROUP HOUSING OFFERINGS INCLUDE OUR CABINS, LODGES, AND CAMPSITES. TEKOA DEVELOPS UNIQUELY CRAFTED SPIRITUAL RETREATS FOR GROUPS. ALSO IN OUR OFFSEASON, TEKOA AFTERSCHOOL SUPPORTS SEVEN AREA SCHOOLS. TEKOA HOSTS OUTDOOR EDUCATION EXPERIENCES AND LARGE COMMUNITY EVENTS INCLUDING A LARGE HALLOWEEN EVENT.
TEKOA FOOTHILLS IS A SITE THAT IS GROWING AND SERVING THE NEEDS OF CLEVELAND COUNTY, NC. TEKOA MISSIONS IS A PROGRAM ON THE SITE THAT HELPS WITH HOME REPAIR AND LOCAL COMMUNITY SUPPORT. HUNDREDS OF GUESTS HAVE EXPERTIENCED RADICAL HOSPITALITY AND LOVE OF GOD IN THIS PLACE.
