BUILT WITH LOVE, THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OF DURHAM AND WAKE OFFERS A COMFORTING HOME AWAY FROM HOME AND A COMMUNITY OF SUPPORT FOR SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.

WHILE OUR DOORS REMAINED OPEN TO FAMILIES OF SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN IN 2022, THE WAY WE PROVIDED SERVICES WAS SIGNIFICANTLY ALTERED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. OUR RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS IN DURHAM AND RALEIGH HOSTED 528 FAMILIES FOR 12,057 NIGHTS OF CARE IN 2022. OUR IN-HOSPITAL RESPITE PROGRAM AT WAKEMED CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL HOSTED 4,692 VISITS OF CAREGIVERS OF SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN. OUR GENEROUS DONORS AND LOVING VOLUNTEERS MADE POSSIBLE OUR MISSION OF HOPE AND HOSPITALITY THROUGH ON-SITE AND REMOTE SUPPORT.
