PROVIDENCE DAY SCHOOL IS AN INDEPENDENT TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN (TK) THROUGH GRADE 12 COLLEGE PREPARATORY SCHOOL LOCATED IN SOUTHEAST CHARLOTTE ON A 46 ACRE CAMPUS. THE SCHOOL IS A MEMBER OF ROUND SQUARE INTERNATIONAL, NETWORK OF COMPLIMENTARY SCHOOLS , GEBG AND IS ACCREDITED BY THE SOUTHERN ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS.
SUMMER AT PROVIDENCE DAY OFFERS FULL- AND HALF-DAY PROGRAMS IN ACADEMICS, ART, SCIENCE, CULTURE, TECHNOLOGY, SPORTS, AND MORE. THE SUMMER PROGRAM IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
THE EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM, A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM, FOR THE LOWER SCHOOL STUDENTS OF PROVIDENCE DAY SCHOOL. THE PROGRAM OPENS AFTER SCHOOL, ON TEACHER WORKDAYS AND MOST SCHOOL HOLIDAYS WITH ACTIVITY CHOICES THAT RANGE FROM ART, COOKING, GARDENING, SEWING AND SPORTS AS WELL AS OVER 20 WEEKLY ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS.
