FORSYTH MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, INC. (FMH), KERNERSVILLE MEDICAL CENTER (KMC), AND CLEMMONS MEDICAL CENTER (CMC) CARRY OUT THE PURPOSE OF THE FORSYTH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS BY ADVANCING AND SUPPORTING THE PROMOTION OF THE HEALTH OF THE INHABITANTS OF FORSYTH COUNTY AND THE KERNERSVILLE AREA OF NC. FMH, KMC, AND CMC MAINTAIN AN OPEN DOOR POLICY, ACCEPTING ALL PATIENTS REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY. FMH HAS 859 LICENSED BEDS. DURING 2021 THERE WERE 221,975 PATIENT DAYS WITH AN AVERAGE LENGTH OF STAY OF 7 DAYS, AN AVERAGE DAILY CENSUS OF 608, AND 33,485 DISCHARGES.
