PIEDMONT ATHENS REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER ("PAR") IS A 360-BED FACILITY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF ATHENS IN CLARKE COUNTY, GEORGIA. OVER 500 PRIMARY CARE AND SPECIALTY PHYSICIANS COMPRISE THE MEDICAL STAFF AND MEET THE PROFESSIONAL CLINICAL NEEDS OF CHILDREN, ADULTS, AND SENIORS WITHIN ATHENS AND THE SURROUNDING NORTHEAST GEORGIA MARKET, REGARDLESS OF ANY INDIVIDUAL'S ABILITY TO PAY FOR SERVICES. FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2021, THE HOSPITAL HAD 21,432 PATIENT ADMISSIONS WITH A TOTAL OF 99,277 OF IN-PATIENT HOSPITALIZATION. ER VISITS TOTALED 78,171 OUTPATIENT VISITS TOTALED 257,365. SURGICAL SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO 14,242 PATIENTS.
