EMPLOYMENT - GIENC SERVED 984 PERSONS THROUGH EMPLOYMENT WITHIN ITS 42 EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM CENTERS ACROSS THE GREATER TRIANGLE, SANDHILLS AND EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA. PERSONS SERVED RECEIVED 7,200 HOURS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. EMPLOYEES WITHIN EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM CENTERS EARNED A WAGE AND BENEFIT PACKAGE EXCEEDING $22 PER HOUR IN 2023. GIENC'S ULTURAL IMMERSION PROGRAM PLACED 26 REFUGEES INTO EMPLOYMENT.
EDUCATION - GIENC PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO 3,886 LEARNERS WITHIN LOCAL AND REGIONAL COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA VIA ITS ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM. MOBILE STEAM BOXES WERE DEPLOYED TO 11 PARTNER SITES ACROSS EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA SERVING 1,091 YOUTH. 60 WORKSHOPS AND 15 CLINICS WERE CONDUCTED TEACHING WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENTSKILLS.
LIFE ENRICHMENT - GIENC HAS PROVIDED OVER $1,400,000 IN GRANTS TO LOCAL AND REGIONAL NONPROFITS THROUGH ITS AGENCY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM. GIENC FEEDS PROGRAM SERVED OVER 8,000 INDIVIDUALS THROUGH THE DISTRIBUTION OF $138,000 IN FOOD VOUCHERS, 80,000 POUNDS OF FOOD AND 3,500 FOOD BOXES.
