EMPLOYMENT - GIENC PROVIDED EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO 801 PEOPLE THROUGH ITS 42 EMPLOYMENT CENTERS SERVING 19 COUNTIES IN EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA IN 2021. OVER 7200 HOURS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WAS PROVIDED TO EMPLOYEES IN EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA IN 2021. EMPLOYEES EARNED AN AVERAGE HOURLY WAGE AND BENEFIT OF $21.18
EDUCATION - GIENC PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO OVER 88,000 LEARNERS WITHIN LOCAL AND REGIONAL COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA THROUGH WEB-BASED COURSES IN MATH, ENGLISH AND TECHNOLOGY. OVER 4,400 SCHOOL KITS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO CHILDREN IN TIER ONE COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEMS.
