THE HOME BUILDER ASSOCIATION OF RALEIGH-WAKE COUNTY REPRESENTS AND PROMOTES THE INTEREST OF THE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING INDUSTRY ON ISSUES THAT AFFECT THEIR ABILITY TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR ALL CIZITENS OF WAKE COUNTY. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO SERVES AS THE VOICE OF THE RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY AT LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL LEVELS.

PROVIDED A PARADE OF HOMES FOR BUILDER MEMBERS TO DISPLAY NEW HOMES TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. PARADE ENTRIES WERE JUDGED AS PART OF THE PROGRAM TO SEE WHICH ENTRY WAS BEST IN APPROXIMATELY 11 CATEGORIES. APPROXIMATELY 102 HOMES WERE ENTERED THIS YEAR. OVER 19,000 COPIES OF THE PARADE BOOKS WERE GIVEN OUT BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THE EVENT.
PROVIDED 2 GOLF TOURNAMENTS DURING THE YEAR THAT HAD 244 PLAYERS COMBINED. MULTIPLE SPONSORS WERE ALLOWED TO SET UP DISPLAYS FOR THE PARTICIPANTS. THE TOURNAMENTS WERE MONITORED BY 5 STAFF MEMBERS AND APPROXIMATELY 4-6 VOLUNTEERS PER EVENT.
PROVIDED THE REMODELERS HOME TOUR PROGRAM FOR REMODELERS TO DISPLAY COMPLETED PROJECTS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
