PUBLIC SAFETY: DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSES OFFERED TO GENERAL PUBLIC ON A FEE BASIS. THE GOAL OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IS TO REDUCE TRAFFIC CRASHES AND THE RESULTING INJURIES. THE PROGRAM OFFERS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE DRIVER CITES FOR A TRAFFIC INFRACTION TO ATTEND THE COURSE IN LIEU OF A TRAFFIC COURT APPEARANCE.
CORPORATE SAFETY: THE COUNCIL IS ABLE TO SUPPORT ITSELF THROUGH FEES RECEIVED FROM CORPORATE CLIENTEL, OSHA COMPLIANCE, AND SAFETY RELATED TRAINING COURSES. THESE COURSES INCLUDE FIRST AID/CPR AND BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS, ADVANCED SAFETY CERTIFICATION, AND FORKLIFT AND FLAGGER TRAINING. THERE ARE ABOUT 60 VARIOUS COURSE OFFERINGS.
