PROVIDE COVID-19 SUPPORT TO LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS
PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO MEMBERS OF THE WEST VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION OF LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS (WVALHD), INCLUDING ALL 55 COUNTIES IN THE STATE. PROVIDE SUPPORT BOTH AT THE ASSOCIATION LEVEL FOR ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND TRAINING, AND AT THE AGENCY LEVEL TO INDIVIDUAL LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS.
WORK WITH PUBLIC HEALTH AND PUBLIC HEALTH SYSTEM PARTNERS TO SUPPORT AND PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND LEADERSHIP IN A VARIETY OF POPULATION HEALTH IMPROVEMENT EFFORTS INCLUDING COALITION BUILDING, COMMUNITY HEALTH ASSESSMENTS, COMMUNITY HEALTH IMPROVEMENT PLANNING, AND TARGETED IMPLEMENTATION PROJECTS INTENDED TO MEET SPECIFIC GOALS THAT WILL IMPROVE THE PUBLIC'S HEALTH IN A PARTICULAR AREA.
