IT EXISTS BECAUSE OF THE CLEAR CHRISTIAN MANDATE TO MINISTER TO THE PHYSICAL, MENTAL, SPIRITUAL, AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF IN-CRISIS, LOW INCOME PEOPLE OF BARBOUR COUNTY AND ITS IMMEDIATE SURROUNDING AREAS.

THE MARKET BENEFITS LOW-INCOME FAMILIES BY ALLOWING THEM TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR INCOME THROUGH SALES OF PRODUCE THEY GROW AND SUPPORTING THE USE OF SNAP EBT AND WV FARMERS MARKET NUTRITION PROGRAM COUPONS.
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE: THE PROGRAM PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS IN BARBOUR COUNTY, WV INCLUDING FOOD, INFANT CARE ITEMS, HYGIENE ITEMS, HOUSEHOLD CLEANING ITEMS, AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WITH PAST-DUE UTILITY BILLS, RENT, CERTAIN MEDICAL EXPENSES, TRANSPORTATION AND SHELTER.
