MEETINGS, LUNCHEONS & TOURS: THE VIRGINIA DAR HOLDS MEETINGS AND LUNCHEONS DURING THE YEAR TO INFORM ATTENDEES OF INITIATIVES OF THE STATE OFFICERS AND STATE CHAIRMEN TO PROMOTE HISTORY, FOSTER PATRIOTISM, AND SUPPORT EDUCATION, TO LEARN ABOUT THE RESULTS OF THOSE INITIATIVES, TO ELECT OFFICERS, TO CONDUCT OTHER BUSINESS AND TO FOSTER CLOSER TIES AMONG THE CHAPTERS AND MEMBERS OF THE DAR IN VIRGINIA.


HISTORIC PRESERVATION, RENOVATION, AND EDUCATION: VIRGINIA DAR PROVIDES FUNDING FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATIONS AND EDUCATION, VETERAN ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHER PATRIOTIC ACTIVITIES.
