PERIODIC PUBLICATIONS DISTRIBUTED FREE TO MEMBERS INCLUDING JOURNALS, MAGAZINES, MANUALS, WEBSITE, AND ANNUAL COMPILATION OF CAVE ACTIVITIES.
THE NSS HOLDS CONVENTIONS, SEMINARS, AND CAVE RESCUE TRAINING. THEY PERFORM CAVE RESTORATIONS, CAVE CONSERVATION, CAVE MANAGEMENT, ETC.
THEY MAINTAIN A NATIONAL HEADQUARTER AND EXTENSIVE LIBRARY. THEY ALSO PROVIDE AWARDS FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND CONSERVATION ACTIVITIES AND GRANTS TO SUPPORT EXPLORATION OF CAVES, SCIENTIFIC STUDIES, PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION OF CAVES, AND EDUCATINAL ACTIVITIES.
