GIRLS ON THE MIC PROVIDED YEAR-ROUND AFTER-SCHOOL STEM/CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY TRAINING TO OVER 3,000 UNDER-SERVED MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS (96% LOW INCOME/92% BIPOC) FROM 50+ PARTNER SCHOOLS ACROSS THE SAN FRANCISCO/OAKLAND/SAN JOSE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTS, EXPOSING THEM TO CAREERS IN TECHNOLOGY AND DEMONSTRATING THE IMPORTANCE OF STEM STUDIES. WAM CORE CERTIFICATE TRAINING A MUSIC TECHNOLOGY TRAINING AND CAREER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR LOW-INCOME, YOUNG WOMEN. WAM CORPS GAVE 100+ JOB-SPECIFIC TRAINING WORKSHOPS TO OVER 300 YOUNG WOMEN. WAM JOB PLACEMENT PROVIDES CAREER COUNSELING AND JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES FOR WOMEN PURSUING CAREERS IN THE RECORDING AND MUSIC TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRIES. WAM PLACED 28 WOMEN IN PAID POSITIONS.WAM INTERNSHIP PROGRAM WAM PROVIDED CRITICAL REAL-WORLD TECHNOLOGY WORK EXPERIENCE THROUGH PAID INTERNSHIPS FOR 29 YOUNG WOMEN IN 2021.RECORDING RESIDENCIES - PROVIDED 18 UNDERSERVED ARTISTS AND ENSEMBLES FROM DIVERSE CULTURES WITH FREE ACCESS TO RECORDING SERVICES, WHILE PROVIDING PAID WORK EXPERIENCE FOR 7 YOUNG WOMEN ENGINEERS IN 2021.WAM CONFERENCES PRESENTS PANELS, BOOTHS AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AT MAJOR CONFERENCES AROUND THE WORLD.
