THE GREAT BRIDGE BATTLEFIELD & WATERWAYS HISTORY FOUNDATION PROTECTS, PRESERVES, AND PROMOTES THE HISTORY OF THE BATTLE OF GREAT BRIDGE, DECEMBER 9, 1775, AND THE REGION'S REVOLUTIONARY WAR AND CANAL HISTORY TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF THESE EVENTS IN THE CREATION AND GROWTH OF AMERICA.

Part 3 - Line 4a

MARKETING MATERIALS ARE DESIGNED AND REPRODUCED AND ARE CONTINUALLY BEING DISSEMINATED FOR EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND SOLICIATION OF CONTRIBUTIONS. A PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE VISITOR CENTER IS OPEN FOR SELF-GUIDED OR DOCENT-LED TOURS. EDUCATION REGARDING THE BATTLE OF GREAT BRIDGE 1775 AND THE BATTLEFIELD IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH PRESERNATIONS FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS. ASSISTANCE TO THE CITY IS PROVIDED BY PARTICIPATION IN THE ANNUAL RE-ENACTIMENT OF THE BATTLE EACH DECEMBER AND THE DISPLAY OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS.


OPERATION OF THE GREAT BRIDGE BATTLEFIELD & WATERWAYS MUSEUM TO INCLUDE MANAGEMENT OF STAFF AND MAINTENANCE OF MUSEUM EXHIBITS AND DISPLAYS THAT ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY FROM 10AM- 4PM.
