PRIVATE SPECIAL EDUCATION DAY SCHOOL PROVIDES A 12-MONTH EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 22. TEACHERS UTILIZE TEACHING PROCEDURES BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF ABA WITH SUPPORTS DESIGNED TO ADDRESS THE UNIQUE LEARNING CHARACTERISTICS OF STUDENTS WITH AUTISM AND RELATED DISABILITIES. THE SCHOOL IS COMMITTED TO OBJECTIVE, DATA DRIVEN ANALYSIS OF BEHAVIOR TO DEVELOP SKILLS NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS IN LESS RESTRICTIVE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS. FOR STUDENTS AGES 14-22, THE CENTER PROVIDES AN OUTCOME-ORIENTED APPROACH TO TRANSITION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING THAT HELPS STUDENTS FUNCTION AS INDEPENDENTLY AS POSSIBLE AS ADULTS.
