FOB'S COMMUNITY HEALTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM SERVED 30 COMMUNITIES IN THE MOUNTAINS OF HONDURAS. COMMUNITIES WERE PROVIDED WITH PREVENTATIVE HEALTH EDUCATION AS WELL AS COVID-19 HYGIENE KITS CONTAINING MASKS, HAND SANITIZER, AND SANITIZING SPRAY. ON GOING EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND ASSESSMENTS WERE PROVIDED.
FOB'S EXTENDED CARE PROGRAM PROVIDED CARE TO MORE THAN 250 PATIENTS, EVEN DURING NATIONWIDE LOCKDOWNS AND CLOSURES. THE PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDED MEDICATIONS, PATIENT CARE PLANS, SPECIALIST VISITS, AND SURGERIES FOR CHILDREN IN NEED.
FOB'S EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PROVIDED CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WITH EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION TO SUPPORT EARLY INTERVENTION AND IMPROVED PARENTAL INTERACTIONS.
