THE MISSION OF THE IECA FOUNDATION IS TO IDENTIFY AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS THAT HAVE SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON STUDENTS AND THEIR EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS. PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO PROGRAMS THAT ASSIST STUDENTS AS THEY MAKE EDUCATIONAL CHOICES.

DURING 2021 THE FOUNDATION AWARDED GRANTS TO PROGRAMS THAT IMPACT STUDENTS AND THEIR EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT IN WAYS SUCH AS PROVIDING COLLEGE AND PRE-COLLEGE COUNSELING AND TUTORING SERVICES, PARTICULARLY IN UNDER-REPRESENTED COMMUNITIES INCLUDING THE URBAN AND RURAL POOR. FROM TIME TO TIME THE FOUNDATION HOLDS AND/OR SPONSORS WORKSHOPS TO RAISE THE STANDARDS AND SERVICE LEVEL OF THOSE IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATIONAL COUNSELING.
