IS TO:1-PROVIDE MUSEUMS AND ARCHIVES FOR EXHIBITS AND ARTIFACTS OF HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE FROM THE 116TH INFANTRY REGIMENT AND AREA CITIZEN SOLDIERS. 2- CONDUCT EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS AND ADULTS.3- SUPPORT OUTREACH FOR VETERANS, MEMBERS OF THE REGIMENT, AND THEIR FAMILIES.

THE FOUNDATION OPERATES A FREE ADMISSION, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC HISTORY MUSEUM WITH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AND EVENTS, HOSTS CIVIC GROUP MEETINGS AND OFFER TRAVELING LECTURE SERIES FOR ANY WHO ASK. COLLECT AND PRESERVE RELATED ARTIFACTS AND DOCUMENTS. OVER 2000 STUDENTS AND ADULTS WERE SERVED BY THESE PROGRAMS.
THE FOUNDATION LEADS HISTORY EDUCATION TOURS FOR STUDENTS AND ADULTS, OFFERS INTERNSHIPS FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS FOR SCOUTS, PROVIDES EDUCATORS AND SCHOOLS WITH TEACHING RESOURCES AND PROGRAMMING. TOURS OFFERED NATIONALLY, EDUCATION SUPPORT REGIONALLY.
THE FOUNDATION OFFERS VETERANS PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE AN ANNUAL REUNION FOR CURRENT, FORMER MEMBERS AND FAMILIES, A COMMUNITY 5K RACE AND HOST A LOCAL POST OF A NATIONAL VETERANS ORGANIZATION. WE SUPPORT UNIT HISTORY/HERITAGE PROGRAMS FOR NEW MEMBERS, ALUMNI AND OTHER VETERANS GROUPS. AVAILABLE TO OVER 10,000 MEMBERS, VETERANS AND FAMILIES.
