2021 SAW A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE OF OPEN DAYS FOR THE MUSEUM, IN 2021 WE HOSTED 212 PLAY DAYS. THIS WAS MORE THAN OUR 181 PLAY DAYS IN 2020 DUE TO OUR 16 WEEKS OF COVID CLOSURE. THE MUSEUM HAD A DIRECT IMPACT ON OVER 30,000 PEOPLE THROUGH FIELD TRIPS, CAMPS, VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS AND INPERSON VISITS. WE CONTINUED TO OFFER CURRICULUM BASED VIDEO PACKAGES OFFERING INDIRECT IMPACT WHICH RESULTED IN A TOTAL IMPACT OF OVER 34,500 PEOPLE. WE SERVED 390 FAMILIES THROUGH MEMBERSHIPS, HOSTED 35 ON-SITE FIELD TRIPS AND 63 VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS . OUR SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE CONSISTED OF 46 TOTAL CAMPS THAT WELCOMED 614 TOTAL CAMPERS. WE OFFERED 326 SCHOLARSHIPS TO OUR CAMPERS RESULTING IN OUR HIGHEST PERCENTAGE OF SCHOLARSHIPS EVER 53%. 2021 WAS A YEAR OF CELEBRATIONS HONORING OUR 25TH ANNIVERSARY.
